I was writing such program 4 years ago (was mentioned in this blog somewhere). Got to the level of quite good dictionary of two arbitrary languages given a bi-lingual book but no further. It also gets into a very good training tool to learn languages by comparing paragraphs. Dropped, out of general lazyness. Nice that someone made it work.
Beta of google print is out. Very nice way to read books. Say thank you to copyright for the "3 page limit".
