On Stereotypes

Oh.. very interesting (sorry for English, don't have russian keyboard at hand). Yes that is the view from the outside. I will be very glad to be convinced in the opposite.
So all this mania of legal-harassment, covering racial tensions by hypocrite smile of political correctness. Confidence in absolute
superiority over all the other nations. Culture of junk-food, blockbusters, violence and everything being for sale.
These are all stereotypes?
I am sure that in such big country as US there are people of all kinds, but stereotypes give the average feeling of the country. If there is an algorithm of finding interesting people/neighborhoods who/which don't fall into such stereotypes I would be very interested to know it.
